We are currently in the process of building a 21ft. Gentleman’s racer, styled after a rare 1940’s Peterborough Zephyr Deluxe mahogany runabout, with curvaceous hull and decks, designed by Earl Barnes. Click here for some construction photos.
The distinctive feature of this deck is the dramatic sweep down to the transom. To suit the needs of today’s boater, we had internationally renowned and respected yacht designer Steve Killing modernize the bottom design and propulsion unit for enhanced performance. As with most of Steve’s designs, he keeps the history in mind, so the running surface, although updated to give a better ride, looks like it belongs. When asked how he liked the deck shape he said, "I wish I could say that I designed it, it looks great".

Modern "West System" construction for superior strength, durability and low maintenance.
Mahogany hull sides and decks in a deep rich mirror finish with 1940’s period style chrome plated hardware and leather upholstery.
